Hasina therapist

Hasina offers individual counselling services to children, youth and adults.

Hasina is here to help you develop healthy coping mechanisms, strengthen your relationships, ease anxiety and gain confidence. Throughout the therapeutic process, Hasina can help you recognize your strengths, in order to help overcome the challenges you are faced with. Hasina values her relationships with everyone she works with, by meeting them where they are. She believes that individuals are able to become their most authentic selves, when they have a safe space to comfortably express their thoughts, take accountability and develop new understandings.

Hasina has social work experience in providing ongoing therapy and walk-in therapy services to adults and children struggling with various issues such as mental health, domestic violence and peer/family conflict. Hasina continues to engage with children and families each day as a Child Protection Worker and builds trusting relationships with the families she works with.

She uses a variety of evidence based therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), solution focused therapy and narrative therapy. Hasina practices through an anti-oppressive and trauma informed lens in order to offer a safe and brave space.

As hard as it may be, we sometimes need to reach out for help, in order to become the best version of ourselves. Hasina can help you and/or your children achieve their goals by creating a brave space for everyone to learn and grow. Hasina looks forward to working with you and congratulates you on taking the next steps on your journey to wellness.

In her spare time, Hasina enjoys spending time outdoors or trying new recipes.
